Young Once perform at the Fulford Golf Club fundraiser which raised more than £1,000
A FUNDRAISER to support York Against Cancer has raised more than £1000.
The evening at Fulford Golf Club was organised by cancer survivor and former captain of the club, Geoff Hunter.
Guests were entertained by the band Young Once, formerly Northern Rock, and danced until the early hours.
Mr Hunter - who has organised a similar event in the past - said he wants to support the charity which helped support him and his daughter in their fight with cancer. The night raised £1035 in total.
