A TRAINEE solicitor from York has raised more than £600 for the Alzheimer’s Society by taking part in a series of charity challenges.
Cheryl Milner, who works for Langleys Solicitors LLP, was sponsored by family, friends and colleagues to complete the 26-mile Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in nine hours and 40 minutes, a ten-mile ‘Total Warrior’ assault course in the Lake District in three hours and a sponsored tandem skydive in Bridlington.
A bake sale held at Langleys also contributed to her fundraising and Cheryl also joined colleagues from Langleys in the Alzheimer’s Society’s own six-mile memory walk in York, which raised £130 for the society.
