STAFF at Skipton Building Society’s York branch in Parliament Street are joining in with Macmillan Cancer World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
On Wednesday, September 24, staff will be holding in-branch events including a Staff Bake Off Competition between 10am and 5pm, with the aim of whipping up as much money as they can for people affected by cancer.
Mark Banyard, Skipton’s York branch manager, said: “We are proud to be fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support by taking part in their World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event.
“The work Macmillan does is fantastic and if we can help just one family affected by cancer through our fundraising we will be delighted.
“I’d like to encourage anyone who would like to support this cause to pop into our branch and have a coffee with us.”
