A YORK dance club is preparing for its end of year show, which will feature more than 200 dancers.
Attitude Dance Club (ADC), based in Copmanthorpe, will stage Ignite with Attitude at the Grand Opera House next Saturday.
The 10th annual production of Lesley Hill will raise money for BBC Radio York’s Good Night’s Sleep Appeal in aid of Martin House Children’s Hospice at Boston Soa. The charity was chosen because one of ADC’s students, Eve Hartzig, lost her little sister Katy when she was a baby to a condition called spinal muscular atrophy.
“Katy’s last few days were spent at the hospice, where she and her family were given the best love, care and support anyone could wish for,” said an ADC spokesman.
Tickets for the matinee and evening performances are £16 and concessions £14. Call 0844 871 3024 or go to grandoperahouseyork.org.uk
