A TEA M of fundraisers have raised more than £4,000 for charity.

More than 30 workers at Yorkshire Housing, from York, Ryedale and Craven, took on the Yorkshire Three Peaks and raised £4,625 for Simon On The Streets - a charity which offers support to the homeless.

Nikki Flett, Yorkshire Housing’s business enterprise coach, set up the team to take on the 24.5 mile challenge, which includes climbing the three peaks, each with a height of over 2,500 foot.

Nikki said: “Simon on the Streets do a great job helping those in need who are hardest to reach.

“It made sense for Yorkshire Housing to get involved and take part in a challenge. We had a fantastic response with lots of people wanting to take on the three peaks. We have raised a lot of money for a great cause. The walk and training for the big day have been a fantastic social opportunity, with people pulling together and developing new friendships.”
