THE Vale of York Clinical Commissioning Group has proposals of over £14 million of cuts for 2018/2019.
This is: elective orthopaedics £2.5 million, out of hospital care £4.5 million, contracting for outpatients £1 million, continuing healthcare and funded nursery care £2.5 million, prescribing £1.6 million, high cost drugs £0.6 million, other £1.8 million.
Because of these cuts you may find that people are waiting even longer for hip or knee operations.
Out of hospital care costs will continue to be transferred to the individual.
The CCG will continue each year to cut costs, driving people to the private sector as the only way to relieve pain and suffering.
If you can’t afford private healthcare you will have to wait years for treatment or go without.
This is all forced on the CCGs by the Government on their route to destroying the NHS.

Just what have the Tories done to NHS?
HOW bad can the NHS become?
Recently I was in St Sampson’s Centre when a lady collapsed and a call was sent out for medical assistance.
It took over half an hour for a responder to appear.
If that were (and we don’t know any different) the result of a stroke or heart problem that length of time delay would make a big difference to recovery.
Years ago an ambulance would have been present in half the time.
I hope Tory voters can sleep on a night, knowing what their party has done to the NHS.
