YORK Designer Outlet is making over its food court in a £1.3 million investment.
The development will convert the food court into a 35,000 sq ft eatery area, split into three areas, called Pit Stop, Family Kitchen and Dining Lounge.
It will seat up to 600 people across eight eateries, including Pret a Manger and Pizza Express.
Mike Thomas, centre manager, said: “Many of our shoppers, including a large student clientele, come to the centre for a great day out and like to combine their fashion trip with a meal. The six-figure development really enhances the centre’s environment and puts McArthurGlen’s York on the map as the must-visit destination for shoppers from Leeds, Harrogate and York.”
