RENEWABLE energy company Clean Energy (Yorkshire) is setting up a new biomass division.
The Harrogate-based company, which employs 30 people, is hoping to take advantage of a Government announcement to incentivise the take up of wood-pellet burning systems.
Tamsin Cassidy, who started Clean Energy (Yorkshire) in 2009 with husband Spencer, said: “There is so much more to green than solar systems and the biomass market is now really starting to take off. They are very efficient and so much more economical to run than traditional oil and LPG boilers.”
