LEGAL minds will gather in York for the Mental Capacity Act 2005 annual review, on October 20, at St William's College.
Lord Justice Munby, who was appointed a Lord Justice of Appeal and chairman of the Law Commission in 2009, will be the keynote speaker at the event, with other speakers including Her Honour Judge Moir and The Official Solicitor, Alastair Pitblado.
The one-day conference, organised by Langleys, investigates the impact and development of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 since it was implemented and considers the changes in working practices for lawyers, clinicians and social workers.
