A HAIR and beauty business in Harrogate is celebrating as it has almost doubled its staff and moved into premises three times as big.
Halo Hair and Beauty, owned by Joseph Ferraro and Chris Burton, has been based in Cheltenham Mount, Harrogate, for the past five years.
They have created five new jobs, moving the salon to 13a Leeds Road, Harrogate.
Mr Ferraro, who is originally from Australia, said: “As well as having more room to accommodate more work stations and more stylists, we also wanted to create a beauty room at Halo to complement our hairdressing services.”
The move comes as Mr Ferraro, 29, has been selected as a finalist in the prestigious North Eastern Hairdresser of the Year 2011 category of the British Hairdressing Awards for the second year running.
