TWO York firms have joined forces to launch an accountancy service for dentists.
Financial services firm Practice Financial Management Ltd (PFM) and Chartered Accountants Townends have created joint venture PFM Townends LLP to combine the two firms’s experience in dealing with dental practices.
The venture will be based at Townends Fulford office in York.
The dental team at PFM Townends LLP is headed up by Jeff Williamson, a senior partner at Townends since 1999.
He said: “Developing additional niche accountancy services is part of our growth strategy. We have the depth of skill and experience required for the dental sector, which is highly productive. PFM’s superb standing in this sector is a great fit with our own heritage and hard earned reputation.”
Jon Drysdale, director of PFM, whose offices are on Skeldergate, said: “We have taken the opportunity to expand the range of specialist services we provide to the dental sector, with a company we trust and one which shares our ethos of providing quality advice at a competitive cost.”
