OUTDOOR clothing specialist Jack Wolfskin has opened a new 115 sq m store in Lendal, York.
The store, which is only the second to open outside London and the fifth nationwide, will employ four people.
The company, which is one of the largest franchise specialists of sporting goods in Europe, has ambitious expansion plans for the UK which has the second largest outdoor market in Europe.
Richard Webster of Sanderson Weatherall, which secured the premises for Jack Wolfskin, said: “York remains a buoyant tourist destination and its central core is always busy.”
