ONE of York’s historic family businesses has helped restore the 200-year-old Bowcliffe Hall and Gardens near Bramham.
Hare & Ransome architectural joinery business, which was established in York in 1918, took part in a multi-million-pound project to convert the country house into 31 luxury office suites.
Stephen Jackson, director of Hare & Ransome, which employs ten joiners in York, said: “At Hare & Ransome our work ranges from ecclesiastical restoration to the conservation of listed buildings and monuments, so we are extremely experienced in the techniques used to breathe life back into grand buildings.
“There has been incredible attention to detail in the workmanship that has gone into restoring Bowcliffe Hall, from all the talented team involved.”
