FAST-GROWING Swansure Group Ltd, the York insurance products organisation which has D&D Homecare Ltd under its corporate wing, has made a strategic acquisition which has doubled its staff and taken its turnover to £30 million.
The Group, based at Aviator Court, Clifton Moor, has bought insurance services outsourcing company Adminicle Ltd, of Cirencester, for an undisclosed sum in a deal structured and advised by York commercial law firm, Denison Till.
D&D Homecare was founded in York by its chairman, Derek Green, working from his home nine years ago. He was previously a customer of Adminicle which is retaining its Cirencester headquarters and integrating its 25 staff, including two directors, and £1.5 million-plus turnover into the parent group.
Denison Till, advised D&D Homecare on the restructuring of the Swansure Group to enable the purchasing company to be set-up in the most tax-efficient way. It also advised on all aspects of the acquisition of Adminicle.
