A CHANCE for businesses in York, North and East Yorkshire to stake their claim to millions of pounds worth of Olympic contracts takes place at The Royal York Hotel tomorrow.
With many of the larger contracts already awarded, this is a chance for the small ventures to learn how to capitalise on the opportunities.
Olympic organisers have ensured that half of all its contracts are awarded outside London and more than half the suppliers are small to medium sized enterprises.
Richard Beail, of the London Organising Committee, will give the latest information on procurement and contracts available.
