AN INTERNATIONAL business event will give businesses the opportunity to ask questions and network at The Mansion House, York.
The event, at 8am on October 5, will hear from Paul Johnson, corporate partner at law firm Irwin Mitchell, talk about international mergers and acquisitions and Jamie Williams, senior manager of entrepreneurial business at Deloitte, who will give a brief tax update highlighting how the UK tax regime is becoming increasingly attractive to owners of small to medium-sized businesses from overseas.
Malcolm Cotton, senior treasury manager of Yorkshire Bank’s parent group, National Australia Bank, will discuss the currency risks encountered when trading overseas.
