BUSINESSES in North Yorkshire have the chance to benefit from a new scheme to help them win contracts for construction work in the public sector.
BuildNorthYorkshire aims to draw together public sector clients, private sector developers, contractors, business support organisations, industry federations and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the building industry.
It will introduce SMEs to business support organisations and provide contractors and other procurers with a database of potential supply chain partners.
The scheme will be launched at a free network event on Wednesday at the Pavilions of Harrogate. Organisations wishing to attend the launch should email admin@buildnorthyorkshire.co.uk with the names of delegates and arrival times – either 3pm to 5pm or 5pm to 7pm.
