PART of a new £2 million investment by Prospect Business Centres to create a refurbished office complex at Apollo House, in York, is now ready.

The ground floor of the 15,000 sq ft building at the Monkgate roundabout in Heworth Green, bought in September, has been converted to cater for the needs of new or expanding businesses in area. Two more storeys should be ready for occupation early next year.

Prospect Business Centres is offering providing high-specification offices with adaptable units which can accommodate two to 50 desks.

The building is expected to house up to 45 businesses over three floors.

Charlie Cudworth, managing director at Prospect Business Centres, said: “We identified York as a key location for business growth in the region and, to reflect this, we have already received a number of inquiries from a wide range of sectors, including financial services, recruitment and IT.

“We are close to securing tenants for much of the available ground floor space and expect Apollo House to continue its success when the remaining accommodation is launched later in the year.”
