PureNet, the York-based e-commerce solutions and software development provider is expanding in the wake of completion of a number of contracts.
The firm, which is a finalist in the Small Business Of The Year category of The Press Business Awards 2009, has taken on two full-time developers and a new marketing manager at its base in the IT centre at York Science Park.
Now employing 12 full-time developers, PureNet has recently built online shops for Birmingham City Football Club (bluesonlinestore.co.uk); PPE, site equipment and roadworks suppliers, Parker Merchanting (parker-direct.com), as well as Naturally Bespoke (naturallybespoke.com), a bespoke kitchen worktops supplier near York.
PureNet’s managing director, Dr Paul Gibson said: “The expansion of our team and the wealth of experience we now have is testament to how far the company has come in a very short space of time.”
