YORK developer S Harrison has signed its first partnership agreement with the University of Leeds.

The University has signed a 25 year lease on new student accommodation targeted specifically at overseas post graduate students.

The seven storey 60,000 sq ft Blenheim Point, oin Blenheim Walk, is the first student accommodation to be delivered in Leeds by S Harrison, which has a strong record in the sector with successful and award-winning schemes already completed in Sheffield, Newcastle, York and Edinburgh.

Director of residential services for the University, Ian Robertson, has praised S Harrison for its commitment to a partnering approach and for the design quality of the 180 bed facility, which is scheduled to come on stream in time for the Autumn 2018 intake.
