A YORK accountancy firm has seen its client portfolio grow by 50 after relaunching its payroll services.
Garbutt + Elliott, based at Monks Cross, introduced an integrated offering covering payroll, auto-enrolment and expenses and benefits in a bid make it easier for businesses.
Since the relaunch the firm has increased its payroll clients by 15 per cent to more than 300.
The service is headed by director Sarah Ashton, who oversees the payroll team, which has doubled in size in the last 12 months with a number of new hires, including the appointment of Julie Gunnell, as payroll manager.
In the last six months the firm has been appointed to provide payroll services to York City Knights, Royal Armouries and York Blind & Partially Sighted Society.
