A YORK accountancy school has won a national award from the industry’s governing body naming it the best new training provider in the country.
Aspire Accountancy School, based at York Science Park, was recognised with the Pauline Sparkes Award for Best New Training Provider from the AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians), for the work it does to help students in York learn new skills.
Aspire Accountancy School gained approval to deliver AAT’s accounting qualifications in July 2016, starting out as a new venture, and is the only training provider in York dedicated to accountancy training.
Sarah Rhodes, director at the school, said: “. It is the icing on the cake to receive an award for doing what we love.”
