A NORTH Yorkshire bottled water specialist is making new inroads in the international air travel sector with the launch of a second new bottle design.
Just over a year after developing its anti-roll bottle, which has since produced more then ten million bottles, Harrogate Water has created its “squond” bottle - a cross between square and round, designed to into inflight snack boxes and service trays.
Sales and marketing director Rob Pickering said: “The international air travel sector is a huge worldwide market and 2016 proved a breakthrough year for us.
“Interest in our latest bottle has been extremely positive and we are confident that this exciting but demanding channel will remain an important area of growth for the business.”
The 180ml squound bottle has also been designed for stability and has been developed in partnership with Krones Group, the international blow moulding and packaging specialist.
Harrogate Spring Water is served on numerous airlines.
