A NEW flavour of the bite-sized version of York’s famous KitKat chocolate bar has been launched.
Nestlé has kicked off 2017 by introducing peanut butter as a new flavour in its shareable KitKat Bites range.
The new launch sees KitKat’s praline layer replaced for the first time ever as peanut butter takes its place between the classic wafer.
Haseeb Rahman, business unit head – KitKat and Biscuits, Nestlé UK & Ireland, said: “We know that people love to try new KitKat flavours and peanut butter has been popular in our KitKat Chunky range for more than ten years.
“We are now very excited to bring it to KitKat Bites, enabling our consumers to share their favourite product with their family and friends, making sharing breaks even better.”
KitKat has been around for more than 80 years and continues to be hugely popular with more than five million of them made at the York factory every single day. KitKat Bites were introduced last year.
