THERE are still a few places left in a Small Business Christmas Market to be held in the centre of York.

York Means Business, part of Make It York, is running the new mini-market specifically aimed at supporting small and independent traders from the local and surrounding areas.

It will comprise of six trading stalls or chalets housed in the front yard of the Judge’s Lodgings in Lendal.

The market will run from Thursday, November 17, until Friday, December 23, and trader slots are offered on a weekly basis from Thursday to Wednesday.

“This is a great occasion for a select number of small and independent businesses to showcase their wares during the festive season,” the organisers said.
