A BUSINESS is celebrating gaining training accreditation as the highlight of a busy year after moving to a new home.

The Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH) accreditation adds diversity to the courses Livius Training delivers from its base at the Rabbit Hill Business Park, between Boroughbridge and Wetherby.

With industry experienced trainers, Livius Training provides open courses and on-site courses for all areas of health & safety, industry skills, industry cards and business development.

Director Allison Wells said: β€œTo become an accredited IOSH training centre is a positive step in the growth of our company and allows the phenomenal diversity of business and industry we have in the north access to the training they need for their workforce.”

Livius Training started in 2010 as a small division running alongside conferencing and events company Livius Events.

Over the early years it had a steady growth but in 2014 owners Andrew and Allison Wells changed their focus to training.

Bringing in Katie Robertshaw to oversee the operational side of the business saw an acceleration in growth over the last couple of years, initiating the move to their own training centre in January of this year.
