THE north’s largest and most diverse buyers’ art and contemporary craft show is coming to York.
Following last year’s success, the 2016 Art Market, at York Racecourse from September 30 to October 2, will give visitors the chance to view work from more than 100 selected artists, including paintings, prints, sculptures, ceramics and glass. Visitors can also meet the artists, enjoy talks, demonstrations, installations and join in interactive areas and workshops.
The team behind the show include Brendan Hesmondhalgh, who creates some of the UK’s largest ceramic sculptures, and fellow artists Victoria Robinson and Emily Stubbs, whose blend of business acumen and creativity have enabled The Art Market to attract some of the best artists in the country.
