A SHOP offering “a feast for customers looking for distinctive furniture and furnishings” is an entrant in two categories of The Press Business Awards 2016.
Love Thy Interiors, which was started by Sarah Shackleton and her daughter Kelly in Thirsk in 2014, with a second store opening this year in Little Stonegate, York, is seeking glory in the Family Business of the year and New Business of the Year titles.
Mrs Shackleton said their furniture and luxury lifestyle store stocked “gorgeous lighting, mirrors, clocks, homeware and luxury fragrances all to make your home just perfect”, adding: “We specialise in perfect gifts for your nearest and dearest, the man in your life or even your beloved pet (we welcome well-behaved dogs) and we always have treats for our canine regulars.”
She said the ‘Love Thy family’ was growing “with the addition of our new team members who have our philosophy with customer service top of our list”.
It had a new studio room under way in Thirsk, offered a creative design service for people’s homes, was launching a webshop and had enjoyed a great response from customers since opening the shop in York.
