EAST Yorkshire firm One Stop Business Finance has welcomed David Jockel as non-executive director to assist the company with its growth plans for the next phase of its development.

Mr Jockel has over 30 years’ experience working for Lloyds Bank in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, the last 15 years of which working with SME business owners.

He said: “When working in banking you come across deals that you wish to back because of the quality of the people involved, but which don’t quite meet with bank credit policy.

“One Stop Business Finance has a portfolio approach to the market, including the backing of some high net worth funders, which allows it to source the most appropriate funding for supportable transactions within the SME market and is developing a very strong track record in this space.

“Client feedback has been good; based largely on the speed of service and the flexibility of the offering.”

l Turf firm WowGrass has appointed a new development manager in response to business growth.

Caroline Littler will assume the role at the Thorganby-based business following a promotion from her previous job of projects co-ordinator.

Her move into the new role reflects the growing level of responsibility she holds for developing customer relationships and assisting clients.
