THE eagerly-awaited shortlist for this year's Press Business Awards is being announced tomorrow.
In what is the event's 25th anniversary year, the awards, supported by overall sponsor Hiscox, welcomed more than 100 entries from businesses of all sizes and across a variety of industries in NorthYorkshire.
Tomorrow a short list of three entries will be announced for each of the 14 categories after much deliberation by the judges, who had difficulty deciding which businesses to put forward from an increasingly high calibre of entries.
The finalists will then be invited to the glamorous awards ceremony on November 19 at York Racecourse, where more than 400 guests will celebrate the enterprising achievements of the region.
