YORK'S Hotel du Vin is being put up for sale along with 28 other hotels belonging to its private equity owner KSL Capital Partners.
Just two years after taking over the business, KSL is looking to sell its portfolio of 29 Hotel du Vin and Malmaison hotels through advisors UBS.
American-KSL bought the hotel business, which was formed 20 years ago, for £200 million after it fell into administration in late 2012.
Since then the group has seen improved sales and profitability, and is expanding its portfolio with the acquisitions of Cannizaro House and Great Scotland Yard in London.
