AFTER facilitating thousands of residential and commercial moves a York property specialist has completed a move of its own to new premises in the city.

Savills, which operated out of offices in Micklegate for the past 22 years, has relocated to a new 2,750 sq ft ground floor office in Merchant’s Place.

Paul Ainscough, head of Office at Savills York, said: "The York team has expanded in recent years and needed an up to date office to accommodate our people.

"We have experts working across the property spectrum here, from residential property to rural farm agency, minerals, valuations, estate management, rural consultancy and planning.

"We often have staff from our Leeds and London offices visiting, so we have also created hot desks for them. We look forward to welcoming clients to the new address and will be hosting a launch event soon."

Ben Pridden, residential director at Savills York, added: "We’re delighted to move to a building that reflects our business growth; there’s now plenty of space to showcase our prime properties in the window. We really hope our clients love it as much as we do when they come to visit."
