AN independent South Milford hotel is one of just eight hotels in the the country to win a ranking from Best Western hotels for top quality and customer service for the third consecutive year.
Privately-owned Best Western Plus Milford Hotel, near Selby, has secured the group’s International Quality and Service Award, a global recognition of those hotels performing at exceptionally high levels.
The three-star, 44 bedroom hotel underwent an assessment over 24 hours, looking at brand standards, guest rooms and public areas and scored 995 points from a maximum of 1000.
It is one of eight hotels in England to secure the gong and one of only 88 worldwide.
Shaun Sleath, hotel proprietor said: “We’re delighted to receive the Best Western Group’s award for the third year running.”
The hotel was also one of the first hotels globally to be awarded the ‘PLUS’ status.
