YORK-based surveyors Barry Crux has been appointed on behalf of administrators to sell a Bridlington restaurant.

Begbies Traynor, of Preston, has instructed Castlegate-based Barry Crux to sell the Quayside Restaurant and Tavern Bar with a £250,000 asking price.

Occupying a prominent position on South Cliff Road, Quayside Restaurant and Tavern Bar offers approximately 1,550 sq ft of accommodation, providing 58 covers and an adjoining Fish & Chip shop.

Also included in the sale is a 1,300 sq ft Tavern Bar which provides a lounge bar facility with two main trading rooms and a central bar servery.

A spokesman for Barry Crux said: "The business and property which has been acquired by an established restaurant operator has undoubted potential to achieve high levels of sales and profitability."
