A DIRECTORY highlighting the best of East Yorkshire's food and drinks businesses has been launched.
The East Yorkshire Local Food Network's free guide, Enjoy Local Food & Drink in and around East Yorkshire, is a comprehensive directory of where to buy and enjoy local food and drink and features a calendar of food festivals, events and farmers' markets.
It is available from libraries, tourist information centres, customer service centres, participating businesses and a mobile demonstration kitchen at local food festivals and country shows.
Network chairman Graham Ward said: "Here in East Yorkshire, we are blessed with some of the finest food and drink related businesses in the UK and the guide is a valuable tool for people to find these organisations."
Established in 2012, the network, a not for profit company, champions the wide range of food and drink available in and around East Yorkshire and currently has 120 members.
