A YORK ice cream manufacturer is celebrating after winning a contract to supply York Races for the seventh consecutive year.

Yorvale, York's only dairy ice cream maker, has been chosen to supply the hospitality areas at the racecourse with a range of flavours from its farm based factory nearby Acaster Malbis.

Director of Yorvale Lesley Buxton, pictured above with husband and business partner Ian, said: "We're very proud to have retained the business for the seventh year."

Yorvale's ‘Race Day Specials' include Yorkshire lemon curd for the May Spring Meeting, double award winning Chocolate Orange Ripple in June and daily specials for the Welcome to Yorkshire Ebor Festival in August; Blueberry on the 20th, Rhubarb on the 21st, Raspberry Cheesecake on the 22nd and Rocky Road on the 23rd.

The Dante Meeting on May 14 and 16 marks the beginning of 17 days of racing that includes the popular Welcome to Yorkshire Ebor Festival and Ladies Day.
