York’s grey winter sky was injected with colour when Benenden Healthcare Society launched its new branding with a balloon launch set off by school children.
Benenden Health invited children from nearby Poppleton Road Primary School to attend the launch and release 500 balloons to mark its rebranding.
To thank the school for its participation in the event, Benenden Health donated £300 for the school to spend on a “rebrand” project of their own.
Marc Bell, marketing and business strategy director at Benenden said: “We want to build a powerful and differentiated brand positioning behind our distinctive mutual health and wellbeing proposition that will help us stand out in an extremely competitive healthcare market.
"We’re delighted to invite schoolchildren from the local community to get involved and help us make the launch event really special.”

Balloons are particularly dangerous pieces of litter, they are mistaken for food by many species of wildlife, especially turtles.
Once balloons have been eaten they can block digestive systems and cause animals to starve. The string on balloons can also entangle and trap animals.
