ENTREPRENEURS in York can get free advice and up to £200 worth of start up offers at the StartUp Britain bus, which will visit the city today.
The bus is part of the national StartUp Britain enterprise campaign run by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs and it will park up at York St John University Business School from 9am to 12.30pm.
Jackie Mathers, dean of the business school, said the visit would provide the perfect lead into York Business Week and the business school’s Enterprise Day on Tuesday.
The StartUp Britain bus will provide access to support, advice from experienced entrepreneurs and information and application details for the £82 million StartUp Loans scheme for people aged 18 to 24, announced earlier this year and a free StartUp Loans Kit with a guide on how to start a business, along with over £200 of StartUp offers.
