A YORK business which offers window tinting, windscreen repairs and radio tuning is in the running for a title at The Press Business Awards.
Formed in 1997, GlasWeldYork has been entered in the Small Business of the Year category.
Its entry says the venture’s ethos is that “people should be able to set up their own companies and work for themselves and secure the rewards of their labour”, and that customers can rely on some of the highest levels of quality and craftsmanship in the industry.
Owner Matthew Janes said: “In a world of economic uncertainty it’s companies like GlasWeldYork that offer the steadfast resoluteness to weather any storm, just like their high-quality, durable and expertly installed window tints.”
The company has moved to new premises in Grosvenor Road, York.
