AN ONLINE business which showcases luxury accommodation and tourism services in the Yorkshire Dales is a contender in The Press Business Awards.
Luxury in the Dales, which has entered the New Business category, allows customers to view a variety of accommodation, including hotels, bed and breakfasts, lodges, cottages and glamping, and submit online inquiries to book.
They can also book tours of the Dales and concierge services to coincide with their trip. “The luxury concept is key and customers receive a personal service which is high in quality,” said owner Emma Bowers.
“The business has been received positively by the market. People enjoy the concept, the business’ design and the products I offer. They also love the fact it is a local business.
“When I launched the website back in 2014, I had seven properties on board. I now have over 50 and have reached the point where accommodation providers actually approach Luxury in the Dales to be included.” She said objectives for the next 12 months included marketing and expanding the Stay & Tour side of the business.
