IT has been a year of sweet success for Pick & Mix Marketing Solutions after recording a 36 per cent rise in revenues and 40 per cent client base growth.

The Fulford-based venture now has a team of four and is vying to be named Small Business of the Year.

As well as its financial success the last 12 months has seen Pick & Mix provide marketing and PR training to more than 600 businesses as well as more than 100 hours of marketing advice to the local business community.

The business was launched in 2011 by Sally Trousdale who recognised that many small businesses were struggling to find the marketing support they needed within their budgets.

She said: "The ‘pick and mix’ approach to marketing is to move away from a ‘one size fits all’ method and to properly listen to a company’s promotional objectives.

"Avoiding jargon and clichéd terminology, Pick & Mix works together with a client to help them reach new audiences using a range of achievable, relevant and highly-personalised activities."

Over the past year, Pick & Mix has proudly supported its clients to achieve great things through both digital and traditional marketing. The company has also enjoyed success with planning and implementing one-off projects and launches.
