In a fast moving and diverse market place, inspirepac’s innovative, high-quality corrugated packaging means that products stand out from the crowd.

Specialising in protective and retail ready packaging and point of sale displays, they deliver to customers across the UK from their Wetherby base. They work with a range of big names including Tesco, Unilever and PepsiCo and have recently embarked on a partnership with Nestlé.

Group Marketing Manager Emma Beer says: “Blue chip companies account for around 80 per cent of our client base but this year we have also started exporting across Europe to Poland, Germany, Czech Republic and Belgium.

“We felt it was time, as the company’s turnover has shown a significant increase despite one major client pulling out of UK distribution, to publicise our success through entering the Large Business Of The Year category at The Press Business Awards 2013.

“After all, not many businesses could see ten per cent of their sales disappear and still deliver year-on-year improvement.”

inspirepac does not rest on its laurels, however. In the last five years it has invested more than £8 million in machinery, which has provided opportunities for growth and created local employment.

Further investment is planned, combined with future projects including group logistics and storage, waste, front-end processes and quality procedures.

But inspirepac also knows the importance of forming good relations with local communities and is involved in a number of sport, sponsorship, education and charity initiatives.
