  • Sutton Bank re-opened after accident

    Sutton Bank has reopened after a road accident at lunchtime today. Emergency services were called to the scene on the A170 near Thirsk at around 12.30pm, after a collision between a car and a motorcycle. The road was closed in both directions.

    FIREFIGHTERS were called to a car on fire after a crash on the A19 near Thirsk in the early hours. Crews from both Thirsk and Northallerton stations went to the scene, on the Northbound carriageway of the road near Borrowby, at about 1am today.
