BATTEN Bill On July 12th peacefully in York Hospital, aged 82 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Eileen, much loved partner of Sheila and also much loved dad of Martyn and Julie, father-in-law of Anna and Nigel, treasured grandad and great-grandad, dear brother to Wendy, Doreen and Ray. Funeral service to take place at Holy Trinity Church, Heworth on Thursday, July 26th at 1.00pm followed by interment at Fulford Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations can be made to Martin House Childrens Hospice and Alzheimer's Research, a plate will be provided at the service.
