GRIFFITHS Jean (Kathleen) It is with deep sadness that the family announce the passing of Jean on May, 11th aged 85 years, formerly of Eastfield Avenue, Haxby. Wife of the late Keith Griffiths, mum to Julie, Mick and Gill, nanna to Ben, Tom, Christopher, Jason, Dan and Mike, great-grandmother to Kade and Ethan. There will be a private service and cremation at Jean's request.

Dear Julie, Mick and Gill. I was so sorry to hear of your mums passing. I have so many fond memories of happy times spent with your mum and dad. Both Nick and Andy remember her fondly also and the times she spent with them - 'playschool Auntie Jean'. I spoke with her many times after I left the UK and had the pleasure of taking Violet (Andy's daughter) to see her three years ago. I remember how thrilled she was to see us all. I will always treasure the memories as I am sure you all do. Please accept our our deepest condolences, you are all in our thoughts and prayers.RIP dear friend Jean.
