MAJOR Elsie May Passed away peacefully in Amarna House on June 27th 2015, aged 85 years. Beloved wife of the late Derick. Also a special mum, grandma and great-grandma. Funeral service at York Crematorium on Tuesday July 14th at 2.00p.m. No flowers please. Donations in lieu if desired to St Leonard’s Hospice.

A loving Aunty to Sarah and Louise and great Aunty to lily Grace, also a loving brother to Bryan. Lots of happy funny memories and stories to remember! You were a massive part of our lives - my hen party where you brought your dancing shoes! Going on the Zip wire at Dunnington park!!! You were a second mum to my dad when he lost his mum aged 11yrs and he will never forget this. At peace hopefully reaching for those stars xx love sarah
