HAND Rene (Peggy) (nee Ambler) On June 17th, 2015, Rene (Peggy) passed away aged 90, in the loving care of Mulberry Court. She was the precious wife of the late wonderful John, loving mother to Judith and Keith, mother-in-law to Barbara, sister-in-law to David and Jean, treasured grandma to Claire, Mathew, Christopher and Joseph and also to Robert, her honorary grandson and his Little Robert. A loving aunt to Lynn and family and faithful friend to May, Steve and Sharon and to many who shared her long brave life. We will cherish her always. Funeral service to be held at York Crematorium on Friday July 3rd at 2.20p.m. Family flowers only please. Donations may be given to Yorkshire Cancer Research. A plate will be provided at the service.
