WHEATLAND Valerie (Val) (nee Taylor) Peacefully at home after a short illness on October 20th 2014, aged 77 years. Loved and adored wife of Jim, cherished and much loved mam and best friend of Tracey and dearly loved mother-in-law of Lee, a wonderful, caring nanna to Natalie and Lauren also special auntie and friend to many. Will be very sadly missed. Funeral service to be held at Heslington church on Thursday October 30th at 11.00a.m., followed by burial at New Lane Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in support of Yorkshire Air Ambulance and York Against Cancer.
