A MOTORBIKER and two cyclists were taken to hospital after a serious crash near South Milford yesterday evening.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward after the collision at around 7.30pm on the old A1.

A 45-year-old man from Normanton, who was riding a black Suzuki motorcycle, and two pedal cyclists, both aged 44 and from Stokesley and Leeds, were taken to Leeds General Infirmary with serious injuries. They are all said to be in a stable condition.

Traffic Sergeant Paul Cording said: “If you witnessed the collision, or saw any of the vehicles involved prior to the incident, I ask that you come forward and contact the police straight away.”
