A 60-year-old man has been charged with indecent assaults against boys between 1978 and 1984, police said.
The locations named on the charge sheet are Ampleforth College, North Yorkshire and Westminster Cathedral Choir School, Westminster.
Scotland Yard said David Lowe, retired, of Charlotte Street South, Bristol, had been charged by detectives from a Metropolitan Police Service child abuse investigation team investigating historical allegations of sexual abuse.
He will appear on bail at West London Magistrates' Court on June 25 charged with seven counts of indecent assault against seven separate victims, all boys aged between ten and 14, at the time of the offences, allegedly committed between 1978 and 1984, in London and Yorkshire locations.
